When you are lonely

When you often feel blue

What gets you through the day

What helps you see anew

For some, writing is the way to go

For others, a song widens the flow

With some yet, art is how you can say

There is always a way to brighten the day

Sometimes you will see

None of these things will do

Really you just need someone

To lift your spirits and see you through

The days will be long

The nights will be hard

The times will be rough

Sometimes you just have to be tough

Though the roads will wind

and your spirit may fade

The light will come to you

Showing your sorrows have been untrue
