The Birth of Love

A Poem on the First Human Emotion

By The One Who WritesPublished 3 years ago 1 min read
An Emotion called "Love"

In the dawn of time, when all was new,

Love was born, a feeling true,

A spark of warmth within the heart,

That set the human race apart.

The first love felt was pure and bright,

A flame that shone both day and night,

It danced and fluttered in the soul,

And made the first human whole.

The first love was like a breath of air,

A breeze that whispered everywhere,

It lifted the spirit, and set it free,

And gave the first human dignity.

The first love was a mystery,

A secret that only hearts could see,

It was a feeling that could not be tamed,

A force that forever changed.

The first love was a wonder,

A feeling that will always thunder,

It was the birth of human kind,

And it will forever be entwined.

The first love was a human's start

A beat that set the heart apart

It was a feeling that will always be

The foundation of humanity.
