The beginning of the end of love

i am always in love

By Kisama Riyo Published about a year ago 1 min read

After an absence, she came late

After my hope of meeting had been long

I looked at her as she was coming towards me

She approached me, and confusion overcame her

We shook hands with a kiss full of longing

She carried me to the courtyard of a virgin paradise

To live after I almost dried up

She came asking about my condition

She found me complaining about the torments of her love

She appeared silent, and my heart was bleeding

I blame myself for what I did to myself

I who was always in love with love

And I will never escape from it

My love for life is stronger than me

And I have loved none but her

So she became cruel to me like time

When I was innocent of her sins

She was my soul sister

And I was the one who was close to honesty

When the ice of the days melted between us

And I thought that she had repented of her habits

A confession of the truth overwhelmed us

Until words carried me

Oh, if only time could return one day

To witness what blame had done By

If you tell me the meeting places

To judge between me and her vanity

Sorry for the past

She lowered her gloomy head

Steps swaying and her shadow

Her words search for her home

Her looks wonder at her knight

She did not find what she was looking for near me

So she asked for permission herself

And left feeling ashamed

She returned from where she came

And the heart sings its pain

My eyes filled with tears of despair

How can I have a love that was

Farewell to her as I met her

After my dreams died with her

After everything that was between us
