The beauty of the world.

And our indecisive hearts...

By Alice SaldiniPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

In Santorini, where the azure kisses the sky,

White-washed domes and golden sands lie.

A horizon painted with hues of dusk and dawn,

Whispers of the Aegean, soft and withdrawn.

In Tuscany, where the rolling hills embrace,

Vineyards stretch in an endless grace.

The air, fragrant with olive and pine,

A countryside where dreams intertwine.

In New York, where the skyline reaches high,

Neon lights gleam, touching the sky.

Concrete jungles and bustling streets,

A symphony of footsteps, life’s heartbeat.

Oh, the beauty of the world so grand,

Mountains rise, deserts expand.

Forests whisper ancient lore,

Rivers carve paths, oceans roar.

The cliffs of Moher, rugged and wild,

Nature’s grandeur, untamed and styled.

The Serengeti, where the wild roam free,

Savannahs vast, a sight to see.

Each landscape a story, a song to sing,

From the fjords of Norway to the Amazon’s ring.

Coral reefs, where colors ignite,

Northern lights in the Arctic night.

Yet our hearts are fickle, never still,

Wandering minds and wandering will.

To live by the beach, where waves gently caress,

Or in the countryside, with peace to bless?

To thrive in the city, where dreams are made,

Or under the starlit desert parade?

Each choice a path, each path a dream,

In the mosaic of life, we wander and scheme.

Oh, the beauty of the world so vast,

Moments fleeting, never to last.

In every corner, every place,

We find beauty’s gentle embrace.

Indecisive hearts, yet grateful still,

For the beauty that makes our spirits thrill.

From the quiet woods to the bustling mart,

Each landscape leaves a mark on the heart.
