The Beach

The beach is my therapy

I was listening to some music while sitting on the beach

Eating a sandwich and watching the sea

I sat there very quiet just the sound of the waves

I could sit there every single day

My favorite song came on and I turned it up loud

I’m the only one here, there’s no one around

Then a ball rolled up to me and I looked all around

No one was there, I was just daydreaming

it wasn’t real

I got up and walked on the sand

Feeling the water roll over my feet

I walk to the water, which feels nice

My feet leave footprints which get covered by the tide

I look at my watch, it’s time to go home

The beach is my therapy and the waves are my doc

They make me feel better after a long and hard week

I look forward to my beach days they can’t come fast enough

Sometimes life can be really rough
