The Ballad of the Builders: A Vocal Ode to AEC

Building More Than Structures: Building a Better Future

By Matt SharonPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

(AEC stands for Architecture, Engineering, and Construction)

With minds that dream in blueprints grand,

Architects sketch a future planned.

Glass and steel reach for the sky,

Where once a field of wildflowers lie.

Engineers, with logic's might,

Craft the bones that hold it tight.

Beams of strength, a silent song,

Whispering calculations all day long.

The builders then, a tireless band,

Transform the dream to solid land.

Sweat and steel, a symphony,

As walls rise tall for all to see.

From towering skyscrapers bold,

To bridges arcing, stories told,

Schools and homes, where hearts reside,

The AEC, with purpose tied.

They shape the world with steady hand,

A silent language, understood in every land.

More than bricks and mortar's hold,

They build the dreams, both young and old.

But not just wonders grand they make,

They mend the scars, for goodness sake.

After disaster's wrath has passed,

They bring new hope, built strong to last.

So raise a glass, a grateful toast,

To the poets of steel, the builders' most.

For in their craft, a beauty lies,

The symphony of the AEC skies.
