Like crumpled balls of paper
Torn apart and tossed aside.
I lost the keys to the kingdom, so they will never see inside.
I will take this crate of treasures unseen - with me, to the grave
And hope six feet is deep enough to muffle the sounds
Of the last breaths I will breathe
Which will scream
