The Art of Letting Go

Not All Goodbyes Are Final, Some Are Freedom

By The Content CrafterPublished 8 months ago 1 min read

I held on to things that weren't meant to stay,

Clung to shadows that faded away.

Every goodbye felt like a loss,

Like I was paying an unspoken cost.

But in the silence after the tear,

I realized that nothing disappears.

It transforms, it evolves, it grows —

And so does the pain that no one knows.

I let go of dreams that couldn't fit,

Of love that flickered and barely lit.

Of promises that turned to dust,

Of hope that once was my only trust.

But I found something in the letting go,

A peace that whispered, soft and slow.

Not all goodbyes are dark or cold,

Some are freedom, some are bold.

I released the weight of regret and fear,

And made space for a life more sincere.

The past no longer holds my hand,

I walk forward, strong and unplanned.

So, if you’re struggling to let things be,

Remember, letting go sets you free.

Not every ending is a loss to mourn,

Some goodbyes are the start of something reborn.
