I've Been Broken
In way's I'm still learning how to explain
I have been carrying a whole storm inside of me
never knew to let go
never knew to forgive
never knew how to breathe
to live
Till I understood the truth
When I was screaming and crying
God
Brought me to my knees so I can hear my own heart beat
You ever think,
After a hurricane or wild fire
Why would God destroy
Why would he destroy the beauty he created
Why?
Well, easy
To grow, to learn
To show what life is like
He can tear us apart in the most painful way
We would never forgive him
till we realize his purpose
he broke us so we can hold ourselves
he made us scream, so we can hear our own voice
Oh~ how beautiful it is to be broken
