The Anthem of Independence
The Anthem of Independence

I walk alone, beneath the sky so wide,
Where freedom whispers, and dreams abide.
No tether holds me, no chain confines,
I chart my course, the stars align.
The road is rough, the path unsure,
Yet every step makes me endure.
With steady hands, I build my fate,
No locks, no keys, no heavy gate.
I need no shadow to guide my way,
No borrowed light to claim the day.
The fire within burns fierce and bright,
A self-made sun to banish night.
They speak of safety in crowded halls,
Of shelter found in towering walls.
But my home lies where the wild winds blow,
Where rivers surge and mountains grow.
To stand alone is to truly see,
The boundless strength of being free.
No silent fear, no voice to bend,
I am my anchor, my own best friend.
So let the world cast its fleeting gaze,
I walk unshaken through life’s maze.
For in my heart, a truth takes root:
Independence is life’s sweetest fruit.
