The American Nightmare

Welcome to the Consumer Machine

By Lawrence EpsteinPublished 4 years ago • 1 min read

Independence can be yours, for a hefty price. Promises that lead to false grandeur, carefully placed in every direction, meant to entice.

Streets paved with debt, hope is sold on every corner. Distractions are used to turn truth into a lie,

You too can have a piece of this rotten pie.

You too can take your place in the Consumer Machine, working thanklessly till the day you die.

That and more awaits you in the land of the despair.

No longer a dream, just The American Nightmare.
