You wait all year for the holiday season.

The most wonderful time of the year.

It takes seemingly forever to arrive.

The last weeks before Christmas seem to fly by in the blink of an eye.

Then Christmas is over.

Depression sets in.

You realize you are in the week of whatever year it happens to be.

You try to make this last week count.

You do not want to do anything.

You may have to work a few days this week.

Maybe not.

That is the after-Christmas depression.

You may still have to see people.

More gatherings.

You are excited.

Maybe not.

You might be introverted or extroverted.

You may have had just about enough.

That is the after-Christmas depression.

You might want to go and do more shopping.

You may be broke.

That is the after-Christmas depression.
