A Parody of the Wellerman's song

There once was a girl with ADD

Who struggled to remember names and things

Something came up, and she zoned in

And ended up hyper focused.

Soon may she get it done

With the help of coffee and rum

One day when the focus is gone

She’ll take her attention and go.

She’d been two weeks towards goal

When another love touched her soul

Her brain saw a fowl

And all her focus was lost.

Soon may she get it done

With the help of coffee and rum

One day when the focus is gone

She’ll take her attention and go.

Before the goal came to matter

The distraction came and then it got her

All ideas to abide, ballooned and falter

When it just lived below

Soon may she get it done

With the help of coffee and rum

One day when the focus is gone

She’ll take her attention and go.

No idea was set, nor was freed

The girls mind was not of greed

But she belonged to the A-D-H-D

She took the idea and rolled

Soon may she get it done

With the help of coffee and rum

One day when the focus is gone

She’ll take her attention and go.

So many days, in true form

All ideas went back, and then came forth

All focus was lost, and then was no more

But still she wanted to go.

Soon may she get it done

With the help of coffee and rum

One day when the focus is gone

She’ll take her attention and go.

As far as I’ve know, the flights still on

The goals still up, the ideas not gone

The A.D.D. makes its regular stall

To discourage the action, view and all

Soon may she get it done

With the help of coffee and rum

One day when the focus is gone

She’ll take her attention and go.

Soon may she get it done

With the help of coffee and rum

One day when the focus is gone

She’ll take her attention and go.
