“Excuse Me please, Excuse Me please”,

I was running down the hall

I just saw his eyes in a mirror,

And that was all.

❤️❤️❤️

My brain did not want to,

Still, my feet stopped,

I just stared at his face,

As books, from my hands, dropped.

💖💖💖

I went home,

But I wasn’t there,

I slept through nights,

But sleep was rare.

❤️❤️❤️

I secretly gazed at him

Often stole a glance,

Daydreaming,

I would think of a romantic dance.

💖💖💖

It was Wednesday morning,

I saw him at a coffee house,

Should I greet him or just ignore,

Double-minded my thought was.

❤️❤️❤️

I was about to pass by,

When he whispered a thing,

I just blushed,

When he went on his knee with a ring.

💖💖💖

I stopped

And my heart skipped a beat

But he started speaking

His intention was both clear and sweet.

❤️❤️❤️

He said he sees me every day

Just couldn’t come to me

But now it was enough,

He came to make a plea

💖💖💖

He asked me if I would hold his hand,

Be with him forever

He knew I liked him

So, would I support him whatsoever?

❤️❤️❤️

My happiness was not hidden,

I was frozen in my stance,

I said Yes,

I did not want to miss the chance.

💖💖💖

Then what, my eyes opened

My dream shattered and I was in pain,

I met him even today,

But couldn’t say a word again.

💔💔💔

The same hall,

The same eyes

And that was all,

And that was all.

💔💔💔

About the Creator

Moonchild Writes

"I am a Moonchild – born under silence, raised by chaos.

I speak in pauses, feel in storms, and write in phases.

My words are not loud, but they echo.

Not here to be read—here to be felt."
