That Instrumental Music

Your eyes closed, your ears ready, and your fingers click the button,

the musical track starts, some random instrumental music that you love,

sitting on that wooden chair by the balcony deep into the night,

the rain-bearing cold winds caress your face,

over your closed eyes, it tumbles,

you're seeping in the sound from the earphones,

engrossed in the music,

as the few people return home from their daily grind.

The music intensifies, the soft piano giving way to layers of violins,

juxtaposed with bass, and percussions, and drums, forming a crescendo,

you feel every bit of it, gooseflesh appearing on your arms,

your eyes, a little blurry with a chance teardrop,

you're transported to a realm, that seemed impossible to attain,

only because of this music, and slowly, it mellows down,

into those fragmental piano bits, you cannot help but wonder,

how many more are hearing this exact track, at the same point in time,

and feeling the way you're feeling, those exact mix of emotions,

sending the soul into a frenzy?
