Thankful for Momma's fried chicken

Thankful for Dad's Dirty Rice

Thankful for Sister's Lemon Cheesecake

Thankful for Brother's advise

Thankful for Grandpa's Sweet Potatoes Pie

Thankful for Grandma's Meringue Pie

Thankful Thankful Thankful

To be around family again

To hear their laughter

Thankful thankful thankful

To see loved ones safe and sound

To hear stories even if they are the same old stories

Thankful thankful thankful

To live another day

May be struggling, trying to pay bills

Looking for jobs, but there's food on the table

There's more to life than money

There's more to happiness than money

I am thankful and nobody can take that from me

Thankful Thankful Thankful Thankful Thankful

Holiday

Matthew, we need that so much! We need to stop, reflect and appreciate! A lot of people just let holidays fly by without a thought, without a feeling... Thank you for this! I just posted a poem in the same category and I am excited that we can connect!
