You offered me everything
We left Perth Monday afternoon
On a trip that changed my life,
In a truck stop out of Carnarvon
You asked me to be your wife.

It was early Wednesday morning
Three am to be correct,
And with the love I felt for you
Of course I will accept.

I’ve never known such happiness
I’ve never known such joy,
Especially when you said you to me
You’d also like a boy.

In one night you have offered me
Two of my biggest dreams,
A happy marriage and children
You’ll give me both it seems.

For this I’d like to thank you
For this I’d like to say,
My love for you is something
That grows stronger every day.
