Thank you King. You gave your life to make sure we’d keep on living. Your struggle was the gift that keeps giving.
Thank you King. When we were oppressed and dying inside you started a movement that made us feel alive.
Thank you King. You stood tall and firm for the community and showed us that the most important part of community is UNITY.
Thank you King. You showed us that no matter our color we are all sisters and brothers who need to stand for one another.
Thank you King. You taught us how to come up out the abyss and how to be a freedom fighter without lifting a fist.
Thank you King. You were the biggest threat to the world’s beast and the greatest weapons you used was solidarity and peace.
Thank you King. No matter how bad a place the world may seem anyone can change it, all we need is a dream.
