Thank you all

Standing in an ocean of darkness

Surrounded by so many blazing stars

I look around but the only thing around me

Is inky darkness because I don't shine

That's what I've thought for most of my life

That I don't shine

People have told me different

But I always thought they were polite

~

Not till recently did I at least try to believe

That maybe I'm a star of my own

Two loving partners and hundreds of writers

All telling me that I shine

~

I look out into the ocean of talent

That surrounds me on all sides

They stand with arms wide open

Cheering for me every step of the way

I want to dedicate this poem to both of my loving partners, all the people who have subscribed to me, and all my fellow vocalites. I've spent most of my life convincing myself I'm not good at anything. With that I thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart. I hope you all enjoyed it.
