I dream of ancient castles...
With libraries taking up four floors...
And I sit reading in the candlelight...
The world outside is peaceful...
My mind is clear of spiderwebs and twine...
I sing to the moon and she sings back in time.

But this isn't real, is it?
I'll have to go back when I wake...
I want to stay here forever...
I don't want to hurt
Don't want to feel the hate...

Let me dream forever...
Let me drown in my reveries...
I don't want to go back to reality...
Where I feel everything and nothing...
Nothing but a tethered soul trapped in me.

I dream of fairy houses
In huge mushroom forests.
I dream I have magic and rainbow wings.
There is no war or bloodshed
Just a purple sky full of starlight
And the trees singing us lullabies.
