Terminal Affection

By Jesse LawPublished 5 years ago 1 min read
ATL Int'l Airport

here we are, lighting up at the Terrapin in terminal D

all our flights got delayed,

but we won't be dismayed!

we'll get where we're trying to be, eventually.

cheers to us,

shooting the shit in this clouded ensuite.

we'll talk about sports,

what we're traveling for,

and why we all want to be where we're going to be.

I'd tell you when I'd see you again,

but it's not in the flight plan.

I found you at your exit.

I know you got a flight to catch,

but now I know you exist

and it's terrifying to know.

I found you on the exit,

mortified, I watch you go.
