You lay the lawn

And water it

And water it

Every day

Every day

For two weeks

For two weeks

The roots bed

The roots bed

And the grass grows

The grass grows

Into a green carpet

Into a green carpet

You push the mower

You push the mower

It rains some

It rains some

And the grass grows

After a month

You mow the lawn

And water the lawn

The grass grows

You mow the lawn

And water the lawn

The grass grows

You mow the lawn

And water the lawn

The grass grows

Over and over

Tender cycles
