Tears…
And as her tears fell silently down her cheeks, so came the rain. Thunder lightning up the sky with light and sound, water gushing from clouds as she gave way to her swirling emotions.
Finally facing her sadness and fear and fury head on.
With a scream as silent as her tears she ran. Ran until her legs carried her no more, she looked to the cosmos above and whispered the one thing she always knew but never believed.
I am lovable, and capable, and worthy of this world.
As the sky continued to rage, she became quiet both inside and out. So still anyone near would think her a beautiful statue. And for the first time probably in her whole existence, she started to heal, and forgive.
Forgive herself and forgive those who wronged her not for them but for her and her life so that she could grow and evolve once more.
And then she woke up and it ‘‘twas all but a dream, and fading memories, until the next life she thought.
And with a final thunder clap she breathed for the last time.
