tapping

(the sound of one mind clapping)

By BrenPublished 3 years ago Updated 3 years ago 1 min read

i think it’s coming on now

(tapping)

(tapping)

(tapping)

a tingling apprehension

starts where my neck meets my skull

a whole damn freeway of tingling

from the end of my hair

to the tips of my toes

a flood of happy anxiety

this gentle tension

grips releases grips releases grips releases

relentless waves of bliss and joy

thunder summer storms throughout my body

drifting through infinity

everything and nothing

diving while flying

laughing and i’m crying (but i’m laughing/crying)

there is a oneness

a becoming……

i didn’t see them

but i heard the dragons

now i know how the gods feel!

surreal poetry
