Tangled in Love

In my dream, I was lost in a maze

Of winding corridors and twisted ways

I wandered aimlessly, feeling lost

But then I heard a voice, a voice I had known

It was a voice that spoke to me of love, sadness, and loss

A voice that came from the heavens above

I followed the voice, through the twists and turns

Until I came to a door, where the voice burned

I opened the door and stepped inside

And there I saw, with a sense of pride

A beautiful person, with eyes like the stars

They reached out their hand, and I instantly recognized.

They were the one I had been seeking

The one whose soul was tied to mine,

We were connected

By a thread, forever tied.

In a bond that was deeper than any we had known

I knew then that our love would never be done.

We danced, and we laughed in that dreamlike place

We shared our hearts, and we shared our space

We knew our love was stronger than anything

That any life could throw our way.

And as I woke from my dream, I knew it was true

That my soul was tied to theirs, forever anew

I felt a sense of peace and a sense of joy

And I knew then our love would never be destroyed

For our souls were tied together forever and more.
