your grip on me, is like the roots of a tree

wrapped around me making me feel safe

and we're tangled, baby

twisting together, setting my heart free

I'm hanging to you, like a fragile leaf

and I'm falling, baby

you've got me grounded and I'm rooted deep

the kind of thing that only love creates

I know you've got me, baby

here in your cradle, you rock me to sleep

holding me steady in your warm embrace

it's flowing through me, baby

pushing me forward, yeah, it so unique

mingled together, till we're interlaced

we're always growing, baby

no weeping willow, just an old oak tree

yeah, that's the kind of lovin' that we make

no shedding me now, baby

**

why would I ever leave....

At times relationships feel like everyone and thing are tangled. That's what makes relationships in a way interesting. Good job.
