Am I supposed to stand here while you silently let me go?
Speak your truth,
Tell me who you are,
It only takes for you to say your name,
Only then can we make a fresh start.
Talk!
Let me know that I'm seen and heard,
Words have the power to break us,
They also have the power to heal us,
Let us heal those lost years,
And reclaim what was ours from the start;
You have the power to heal our friendship,
The power to make the magic happen,
If only you would just talk!
