When things don’t go my way
I lose myself again
And take my trust away
But then the dark clouds come and I cry all day
So then I come back to you and beg you to remove the darkness away
And make a promise (that I can’t keep) to always stay
You know me so well , so you promise to find me whenever I go astray
Send your joy my way
So I can smile again
No you won’t ever take your love away
Remind me that it’s all part of your plan
So I put my trust back into your hands
