take me home
A poem for "Harvest of Memory" Challenge
By Chloe Rose Violet š¹Published 3 months ago ⢠1 min read

*I took this photo out at my dad's farm last week and I let it inspire this poem about harvest.**
a house full of memories,
where the voices linger in the halls.
a sky on fire,
where the horizon of flames seems to call me home.
a heart full of dreams,
holding on tight to the hope of a better tomorrow.
and there in the fields,
the John Deere green tractors blaze away as harvest hums,
a reminder that every season of life must come to and end,
to make room for the bounty that is yet to come.
