In my hearts of hearts

two bunny ears, flop sideways

around the heart sick- amor

I mean, the heart of the sycamore

through the hole

like in her head

She fell for him,

like Alice did for wonderland

Chasing a rabbit tail,

as she surrenders

into the unknown

Her eyebrows raised like a flag

Brazen

His eyes like two burnt holes in a blanket

Looking through me,

like a looking glass

You’re so beautifully imperfect

You’ve done nothing wrong

I won’t be able to love you,

Not even in the slightest

Reaction

You can’t see a hole in a ladder

Mad, madness, madder

than a hatter

His confidence like a house of cards

A queen can never be pawned

You will not always be loved

by those who say I love you

Being with you is as nauseating

as the spinning tea cup ride

Days will come, like a unbirthday

When I am bored of life

Arrogantly idle as a jabberwocky

Jabs cause hurt feelings

carelessness like a rabbit hole

Without a hint of incomprehension

internal conflict within myself

Discomfort by others hands

is lethal as a destroying angel

destroy you like rendering useless

Realization

You haven’t been in my shoes,

you can’t

fill my presence in a room

You can’t

walk the walk,

a mile in my soles would be too far

Don’t think you can show me

how to knot my laces

You can’t fray my confidence

I will let that butane burn
