In memory of those who once were

We set the tables hoping everyone will show

The memories of pasts discussed in the flow

Wishing that you hadn’t left

The past behind

This thanksgiving will be different

They’ll never be the same

Leaving that place set open

In memory of those who once sat around the table this day
