The Instant Man Existed

The instant man existed we started losing time.

Time to spend with family, time to find words that rhyme.

We lost the time to turn the clock,

We lost the time to walk the block,

Time to paint and time to sing,

Time to find what happiness can bring.

We lost the time in our own mind,

We lost the clock to look behind.

The instant man existed, what a funny trope!

The instant man existed, along a tightrope.

To laugh and love,

To look up above,

To discover what really is a dove.

Time, it’s ever running out, to flip the script once more;

Dance in the rain, find peace in the downpour.

The instant man existed we began to fathom “why”,

For once in your existence, just say “I’ll try”!

Try to find some words that rhyme,

Try to find the pun in thyme,

Try to find all the lost boys,

Try to fix their broken toys,

Smile and laugh, find time to rest

But most of all, always do your best!
