Swirling Tomorrow

Fright vortex

I tasted fear,

crushing wings,

I took for granted

what was lost

I drowned in sea of sorrow

and came back,

regrets followed my steps

and shadow

crept inside heart

on window sill

frightening sunshine

and moon rays.

***

Inside a specter,

looking down on lives

I suddenly felt warmth

it flooded conscience

and the night

of spirit

came unmasked.

I could see me

as I was

and still wished

to be.

***

I took apart unknown

wishes, the colors

that had chained soul

to land,

I learned to fly on heartbeats,

I am still here, whole,

weaving horizon

on a fairy stream.
