Swaddle

A soft caress

By Victoria EnochPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Wrapped in a cocoon so tight,

The infant sleeps safe through the night.

All swaddled up and snug as can be,

This little one is at peace and contentedly.

From the moment they leave mum’s womb,

This warmth and comfort will continue to bloom.

It provides them a womb-like embrace,

Where they feel safe and secure in any place.

To feel comforted and secure in their world,

The swaddle blanket serves its purpose well.

This wonderous embrace they can never outgrow,

For a lifetime of love it will bestow.

So a swaddle's more than just a mere wrap,

It's a symbol of a parent's caress and lap.

That assurance of love will stay 'til the end,

And give babies the strength to transcend.
