Survivor

Since I wrote on algorithms my readers have increased

From just under 800 total, to 993!!

(Ok, 995-I needed the rhyme) lol

I’ve read your thoughts and comments

I’ve gotten lot’s of hearts and likes

But Still no word from vocal,

Sounds a lot like Jon McKnight

No bonus, no responses

No communication on my plight

But I noticed on my statement, my card was charged again last night

Maybe it’s true these bonuses

Are only for “new” members

And I should just stay focused

Take a breath and pull myself together

I hear others say their getting rewarded

and I'm celebrating with you

but I'd like to be acknowledged

for the things I'm doing too

That what I am writing down

means something to the one who reads it

that your publishing my work

for more than just my payment

It seems I’m not the only one

Feeling just a little bit put out

Wanting what everyone else is

Rewards- and not a hand out

Yes, I write because I love it

And My husband says “don’t quit”

But, it’s getting Kind of like survivor:
