Sunshine in a Jar

An Ode to Tangerine Marmalade

Marmalade gold what a delight,

A burst of sunshine in every bite.

From citrus groves where sunbeams waver,

You brighten my morning, a taste to savor.

Your appearance a mosaic of amber and fire,

Captures the sun as sweet desire.

In every spoonful a journey untold,

From sun-drenched orchards goodness unfolds.

Zest and peel rendered by hands so skilled,

Into a worthy creation that leaves taste buds fulfilled.

Tiny bursts of citrus explode on the tongue,

A symphony of flavors, so richly sung.

A perfect blending of sweetness does bloom,

A taste of summer that shatters winter’s gloom.

On toast or scone you spread your delight,

A morning ritual, the day to ignite.

Oh, tangerine marmalade, preserved so divine,

In every spoonful warm flavors enshrined.

You color my mornings with a vibrant hue,

A tribute to nature so vivid and true.

With hunger and gratitude I savor every jar,

A taste of heaven more near than far.

To change your recipe would be to jest,

Tangerine marmalade you are the best.
