We miss you

As the days get shorter

And the air gets cooler

We miss the glowing ball in the sky.

As time goes on the cold pours in

The clouds form gloom in the sky above

We miss the sun and it’s warm rays on our face

We miss the warmth it would shine down on us.

We miss the light it gave as it hides behind a cloud

We miss the beautiful sunshine

We wait patiently for it to return next spring.
