Sunset Swimming

A poem for Mike on our 10 year anniversary:

Sunset Swimming

A love like the ocean, deep

and engulfing -

Two hearts infinitely keep

the sweet harmony pulsing.

-

Sanctification as the sun beams

Kiss my skin,

I can’t tell where the water

ends on me, and you begin.

-

Soulmates divulging in God's creations,

We dance and we play

We fall, we learn patience.

-

Carry me, for I will too carry you

Over each wave,

and when the tide sways

Or crashes, we’ll know what to do.

-

Sunsets in the sky don’t even have a clue.

Red with passion, flowing in blue…

purple to never letting go, and yellow…because it’s you. 🌞
