Sunset Inside of Me

You try so hard to change yourself yet the darkness of your souls keeps creeping up.

I won't drown myself in self pity. No one knows what or who I am. No psychologist can read my mind. I hide behind a thousand masks when I'm alone. I have a name, but I'm a nobody. I'm an asshole and a lover, who would rise from hell to prove my love. Everyday a small piece of me dies and I rewrite my story, depending on the mask I'm gonna wear today. It's like a sunrise rising from the darkness inside of me.
