I bring the coldness

You bring the warmth

I harbour darkness

You crack jokes

Where do we go?

The unpredictability scares me

But with you by my side, I’m alright

We meet each other in the grey

We fill it with colours

You bring a bucket of yellow paint

And I bring purple

You paint sunflowers

And I draw stars

We meet each other

In the blueness of life

We hold on to each other

Who knows what lies ahead?

You fall asleep, and I write

What battles are you fighting

Sitting quietly?
