Sunburnt cattails whip in the breeze.

Distant child laughter is heard as they go jumping into a pool.

The kids are soon to go back to school.

A tractor hauls some hay bales in its scoop.

Anxiety is nowhere to be found and all is at peace.

All the new subdivision construction has ceased for while,

and for a few simple moments, the world seems to be free of any guile.

It's the simple moments where we find a peace and contentment , and it's His plan for us to live with that peace. May the simple moments become longer and more abundant . 😊😇 “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” ‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭27‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

That one feels like a breath of summer freedom! Sometimes the smallest pauses in life like cattails in the wind carry the biggest peace :)
