apollonian men

music + wine

naught but a valley

of lovers

you've left behind

a seeker of wisdom

+ beauty

an eye for an eye.

drum circles salted with

patronage -

dutiful

people -

+ songs of the sky.

cry to the big man beyond

the mountaintop: a cloud!

nighttime!

apollonian men

you've grown rather fond

of hunters + birds +the leaves on the trees

+a breakfasty food

if you'd please,

a woman,

a man.

if you'd please

to understand -

a broken piece an arrow to the knees

good morning, a day is seized.

a lyre in a stand

apollonian man.

nature poetry
