Sumptuous thoughts

A sonnet on balance.

By S. RaePublished 4 months ago 1 min read

Sumptuous thoughts float and surface,

Undulating to shake their way a pace.

Flitter and tempt in grandeur asunder,

Golden chain evoking a hunger.

Upon the velvet skin of a curve tasted,

Not a moment to be wasted.

Spinning wonders in gluttonous state,

Do I truly wish to sate?

Slaved moments in licks of silken skin,

Is this lust or love, and do I begin?

Invite of your secret satiny folds,

To lay you upon down, in holds.

Shall I move, have another go-round,

Or instead sit and stay sound.

About the Creator

S. Rae

Using pen as lantern, with curious gaze do I observe and witness. Humor blended with love, paramount for survival of this heart. Writings to share and release, to birth and make peace. Through vulnerability to the explicit, do I dare.
