As I open the door
The summer air
Hits my body
And fills me with joy
I look into the sky
Not one cloud
Covers the sky
It is a perfect day
Not a chance of rain
A day uninterrupted
Boy its good
I don’t want anything more
As I let the sun
Hit my skin
Warming me up
There is no better feeling
A chance to spend time
Outside playing
With loved ones
It is time well spent
The summertime is great
For going out
And get togethers
Surrounded by so much love
There is no better time
In the calendar
Or the year
For this joy to happen
