Thunder cracks the sky,

heat breaks under pouring rain

earth drinks in silence.

This description really paints a vivid picture. It makes me think of those intense summer storms. I've been in a few where the thunder was so loud it felt like the ground was shaking. And the way you describe the heat breaking under the rain, that's spot-on. It's like nature's way of cooling things down in an instant. How do you think this kind of imagery could be used in a story or a poem?
