Summer Seduction

The sand is fine like grains of salt,

The waters warm as summer dawns ,

She sips on wine, hydration forgot ,

While I drink more, watching her yawn.

The sun shines overhead, rather bright.

I set the umbrella in the sand,

In order to block the light.,

She smiles at me while doves start to land.

Her eyes grow wide, a dazzling blue

While I kneel down, a ring produced

Her desire to be a bride, in a dress that’s new

Realized this dawn, as we become seduced.

A love is cemented in legacy

This day is marvelous and we are happy.
