Amidst the summer's radiant glow,

A somber melody begins to flow,

Beneath the sun's warm and golden rays,

Lies a heart burdened with sorrow's haze.

The world may bask in vibrant delight,

But within me, darkness takes its flight,

For in the highs of summer's embrace,

I carry a sadness, I cannot erase.

The laughter of children, like distant chimes,

Echoing the melancholy of times,

Their carefree spirits, a painful reminder,

Of a joy I once knew, now lost in a bind.

The azure skies, a canvas so blue,

Hold secrets of tears, once held so true,

The gentle breeze whispers tales untold,

Of shattered dreams and a heart-grown cold.

In the blossoming fields, vibrant and bright,

I walk alone, enveloped in the night,

The warmth of the sun, it cannot mend,

The emptiness that my soul must contend.

The summer high, a paradox to bear,

As it intensifies the weight of despair,

For amidst the beauty, I stand apart,

Lost in the depths of my own broken heart.

But even in sadness, a glimmer resides,

A flickering flame that hope provides,

Through tear-stained eyes, I yearn to see,

A future where my heart can truly be free.

So I'll embrace the sadness, let it flow,

Like a summer rain, washing my soul,

For in the depths of sorrow's domain,

I'll find the strength to rise and heal the pain.

In the melancholy of this summer's sigh,

I'll search for solace beneath the sky,

For even in sadness, there's a bittersweet grace,

A reminder of life's ever-changing pace.
