Summer Loves You

A sonnet of nature's love

Summer Day - There's nothing to hate about it

The sun-kissed romance, the warmth of its embrace

Mother nature loves you, she admits

As the cool breeze soothes your wrinkled face

The velvety blankets of green pastures

The lilies and lavender smiling

Look at the butterflies breathing faster

Nature once beguiled — and evermore beguiling

When the sun gets hot, dip yourself in the hugs of sea waves

Or let the zephyr dissolve you in its arms

The shadow of the clouds craves you

Unlock your heart; the rest it will do

Don't reject the summer's love

It'll comfortably fit your heart like a perfect glove
