sudden sunrise

filling your brain cells with love

there's something you need to know

something clearer than the purest snow

something that will warm your hollow bones

something that you just can't clone

there's this feeling you get like a sudden sunrise

that seems all too large to hold its full size

from your heel to your hairline

and holds you, wrapped up like a vine

filling your brain cells with love

whispering sweet somethings from above

the greatness of the scene

is too much for this teen

for hours upon hours, the view never tires

for breaths after breaths, nothing else seems dire

softly it lingers inside as i exit

but no longer am i independent

all along i was looking for the key

all along it was always with me

love poems

About the Creator

poetryinwaiting

I love all things writing...though I am particularly biased towards good, vulnerable poetry. I love pouring my heart on a page with every piece I write. Life is for expressing, not containing.
