My eyes wide open, I can't believe

The shock and awe that I receive

My heart is racing, my thoughts unclear

A moment of stunned surprise is here

I'm caught off guard, I'm in a daze

My mind is lost in a bewildered maze

I can't process what has just taken place

An unexpected turn in life's race

The world around me seems to slow

As I try to grasp this sudden blow

I feel the weight of the moment's force

And wonder how I'll stay the course

But then I take a deep, calming breath

And realize I have strength to meet this test

With courage and determination in my eyes

I'll navigate this stunned surprise.
